Because when I’m left alone to wander around interesting architecture, the weather is good, and I’m too tired to do any more work before getting up and doing more work-trip stuff, I take lots of pictures on my phone. I’m pretty sure the reason I got booked into a 16th century coach house the interior of which was a location for scenes in Four Weddings and a Funeral instead of an Ibis or equivalent is that there were no cheap hotels in the area.
